As a resident at Maravilla Scottsdale, you will find a CARF-Accredited community with all kinds of lifestyle opportunities for social connections, health, and wellness activities through our ZEST™ Wellness, along with all the comforts and conveniences of care services to help simplify life.
Independent Living at Maravilla Scottsdale
As a resident of the Casitas or Courtyard residences at Maravilla Scottsdale, you will find all kinds of opportunities for social connections, health and wellness activities, and the comforts and conveniences to help simplify life. Here are the amenities and services included with a Casita or Courtyard Residence:
- Your choice of breakfast, lunch or dinner daily at the Ironwood Grill
- Weekly housekeeping and flat linen laundry services
- Lively calendar of social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities and programs
- Health and fitness classes
- 24-hour emergency call system and reception desk
- Scheduled transportation services to doctors’ appointments, shopping, events and entertainment
- Utilities (except phone) including basic cable TV, heating, air conditioning, water
- Interior and exterior care and maintenance of all residences, common areas and grounds
- An annual, renewable, healthcare benefit consisting of 15 days of Level I Assisted Living or Memory Care for use if ever needed. Additionally, Independent Living residents who transfer either temporarily or permanently to Assisted Living or Memory Care will be entitled to receive a fifteen percent (15%) discount off the then current market rate for as long as they are residents of the community.
Assisted Living at Maravilla Scottsdale
Maravilla Scottsdale’s assisted living services take a “whole-person” approach to wellness, and are tailored to meet your needs, now and in the future. Services can be dialed up, or back, at any time, so you are always getting the help you need. Residents choosing assisted living services enjoy personalized care services as needed to support independence and wellness. Here are the services offered in assisted living:
- Three delicious meals daily, and snacks in the Sonoran restaurant
- Weekly housekeeping, personal and flat linen laundry service
- Help with daily activities, including bathing, dressing and grooming
- Assistance with managing medications
- A holistic personal wellness plan that supports the whole “you”—physical, spiritual, emotional, social and intellectual
- Lively calendar of social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities and programs
- Outdoor courtyard and walking paths
- 24-hour emergency call system and licensed nurse on staff
- Guest reception desk
- Scheduled transportation services to doctors’ appointments, shopping, events and entertainment
- Utilities (except phone) including basic cable TV, heating, air conditioning, water
- Interior and exterior care and maintenance of all residences, common areas and grounds
- Spacious One-Bedroom residences complete with an Arizona room
Enliven™ Memory Care at Maravilla Scottsdale
Maravilla Scottsdale's Enliven™ Memory Care offers personalized care within a secure residential environment. Our carefully selected and trained staff works closely with memory impaired residents and their families, developing individualized and innovative programs that focus on meaningful tasks that are engaging and stimulating while being stress-free for the resident. Here are the services and amenities offered for memory care:
- Private Alcove residences
- Three meals daily, including snacks in family-style country kitchen
- Weekly housekeeping, personal and flat linen laundry service
- 24-hour staffing and licensed nurse on staff
- Secured, residential environment
- Specially designed common areas and outdoor courtyard and walking paths
- Family activity centers
- Social, cultural and recreational programs
- Scheduled group transportation

- Assistance with managing medications
- Residential and special care services to meet the changing needs of each resident
- An environment (physical, social, and cultural) designed to encourage and support independence

- Utilities (except phone) including electricity, heat, air conditioning, and basic cable TV
Through our partnership with ONR, residents at Maravilla Scottsdale are fully equipped to start to heal and feel better. Rehabilitative services can be tailored to the unique needs of each person to support them in regaining or retaining health and independence.
- Physical Therapy to help you bounce back and feel better as soon as possible
- Occupational Therapy using sensorimotor treatments to increase strength, endurance, range of motion, coordination and balance
- Speech Pathologists are ready to help with speech therapy or swallowing disorders by including exercises to build up oral muscle strength and function
- Available Respiratory Therapists offer detailed treatment options designed to return residents to their optimal breathing capacity

I had a wonderful tour. While I came looking for placement for my husband, I even looked at independent living for both of us However, I am not ready for a retirement community and it is a 40 minute drive from our home so it would be too inconvenient to travel that far to visit my husband if he resided there. Morning Star is 2 miles from our home and a better location.

I had the pleasure to meet the Administration team today in this beautiful community. Not only is the community beautiful but the Administration and the caregivers are always smiling. You can even see those smiles under the masks . Walking around everyone will say hello and treat you like family . This is somewhere that I would be happy to transition my mom when she is ready to make this hard decision.

We were impressed w your facilities. We still have not had a chance to see your residents which is important to us. Are they happy? Do they feel a sense of community? They all must be napping. Ha. We are turned off about the idea of 'buying in'. We could like to move in about 2 yrs so are doing our research. Thank you to a terrific marketing fellow.

I absolutely enjoy working at Maravilla Scottsdale! I have worked at many retirement resort style communities, but this is by far the best place I have ever worked. When I'm here, I barely feel like I'm at work because I love all of my residents and love spending my time with them! I think anybody would enjoy living here!

However, we are confident that Kevin will connect with us soon. Note: we visited several SRG properties in CA and AZ and we plan on making a move in 3 - 7 years.

I absolutely love working here ! The company genuinely cares for it's employees! Management does a terrific job in working together to ensure that our community is running to the best of it's it's ability daily. More importantly, our new ED, Sandy D'Angelo has been such a huge positive influence on the positive and productive changes that have taken place at our community. It's been my absolute pleasure to work for a community that truly sets an impeccable standard of excellence for our residents and it's employees. We did not have an appointment and dropped in on a Sunday. We didn't expect to have anyone there to give us a tour. The community is lovely and though we are not ready to make a move at this time it is high on our list when that time does come.

Beautiful architecture, luxurious accommodations, hidden away in the Sonoran desert landscape, of gorgeous Scottsdale Arizona!! Active senior living community and assisted living, all in one place. I am currently employed at Maravilla Scottsdale, and I would recommend this property to my friends and family!

Mary has been terrific to work with. I have had lots of questions and she has always responded to them promptly and provided thorough information. We have been working with Mary for a considerable amount of time and she has shown a notable level of patience. She is well like d by the community and meets and greets everyone along the way and they respond to her in kind; she has a special relationship wit all. We visited Maravilla in November, and we’re very impressed with the facility as well as the costs. But we were so shocked at the high increase of the entrance fees, so we are re-evaluating our decision to go forward at this time.
