The holidays, coupled with these uncertain times, can lead to stress and anxiety. Research shows mindfulness – the state of being present in the moment – can help improve one’s mood. Coventry Place hosts a weekly opportunity for residents to practice mindfulness through deep-breathing techniques from the comfort and convenience of their residences. Participants are reaping the many benefits of the exercises, including lowering blood pressure and increasing energy levels.
