Be Inspired by “Hope After Holocaust” - Podcast

April 8 11:45am

The Village at NorthRidge’s fascinating podcast series, “The Golden Mic Experience,” highlights the lives of amazing residents calling the active retirement community home. From dating at 79 years old to stories of Holocaust survival, audiences will hear incredible tales of triumph through the prism of an older adult with host, talk radio veteran Bill Moran.

In the third installment, Holocaust educator Joe Hess (88) shares his poignant story of survival to commemorate Days of Remembrance, an annual eight-day period that helps our nation remember and draw lessons from the Holocaust. In “Hope After Holocaust,” he recounts the story of being only six years old when his parents put him on a train to escape Nazi Germany in a program called “Kindertransport.” Joe mourned the loss of his parents, but then, a miracle!
