Take a Hoop Fitness Class

Silver Springs has added a fun, new activity to its already robust fitness calendar: Hooping (also called hula hooping or hoop dance). The artistic movement or dancing with a hoop (or hoops), has been shown to strengthen muscles and burn up to 450 calories an hour. Under the guidance of fitness director Micaela Patterson, residents will swing into better shape using weighted hoops. At Silver Springs, fitness matters!
