Learn the History of the Ferry Building

April 8 1:00pm

Peninsula Del Rey residents will attend a presentation about the Ferry Building by historian Anne Evers Hitz. The Ferry Building at the foot of Market Street is one of San Francisco’s oldest and most famous landmarks. From 1898 until the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge, the ferry was the only way to arrive or depart the city. After many renovations and restoration, the Ferry Building now houses a food market and many other attractions.
