As SRG heads into our 35th year, I can’t help but reflect on the path that brought us here. All the talented, dedicated people that have helped us create exceptional communities and experiences for so many. All the incredible residents I’ve been fortunate to meet – and everything we’ve learned from them. Without exception, the one thing every resident brings to each SRG community is experience. Amazing, enlightening, empowering life experience.
It’s an essential part of what makes the Power of We so rewarding – connection between team members, residents, families, and friends.
The world and the way we live in it has certainly changed over the last three and a half decades, and our goal has always been to stay a step ahead. To lead rather than follow. To imagine rather than imitate. It starts with listening. Taking time to sit and chat with the people we serve. That insight is key to making communities that are as interesting, enjoyable, and rewarding as possible. We’re always looking to the future, anticipating what’s next, and seeking innovative ways to make each moment more exceptional. It all adds up to a passion for life that begins with our residents and inspires everything we do.
Maybe that’s the secret to a long, fruitful life – a constant desire to grow, combined with an amazing wealth of experience. It has definitely served us, our communities, and our residents well over the past 35 years – and we’re just getting started.
In 2023, we find ourselves on the brink of a new era of transformation and opportunity. New communities, programs, and initiatives that provide even greater personalization are all on the horizon this year, and we couldn’t feel more invigorated about where we’re headed – with residents and their families as mentors – and our own team members as amazing catalysts for growth and achievement.
Here’s to the adventure ahead of us, as we acknowledge both our good fortune and tomorrow’s challenges – with an abundance of gratitude, confidence, and heart.
