Carlisle Residents Play for a Great Cause

Residents at The Carlisle Naples in southwest Florida were playing for a great cause as they rolled the dice during the luxury retirement community’s Casino Royale event.

The event raised $1,500 for Naples-based The Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled (FFDD), a nonprofit organization whose mission is advocating for an enhanced quality of life for citizens with developmental disabilities.

“The blackjack tables were packed all night and the energy was awesome,” said The Carlisle’s Program Director Amanda Stith. “Residents had a wonderful time while helping to fund FFDD’s life skills educational program and its new respite care.”

The Carlisle’s Casino Royale event was co-sponsored by Advocate Home Health, XL-Care, and The Bonita Springs Lions Club.

At the end of the night, residents and guests received raffle tickets for prizes including a 32” LCD flat screen TV, various baskets and gift certificates.
