Top Marks earned for CARF accreditation at The Park Lane-Retirement community awarded three-year accreditation with exemplary service noted

MONTEREY, Calif.(December 19, 2011 –The Park Lane retirement community in Monterey has been awarded its first three-year accreditation by the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This certification is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a retirement community, similar to a Five Star rating in the hospitality industry. To receive the three-year accreditation outcome, The Park Lane completed a rigorous peer review process, and demonstrated to a team of surveyors that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurability and accountability.

In particular, the survey team praised The Park Lane’s activities department for activities that are “highly individualized, varied and flowing (not static), responding to the needs and moods of residents.
