Medical Aides (Full-Time / Part-Time)

JOB OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for delivering medication services to residents and documenting the same.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assists and/or administers medications as prescribed by physician to residents.
- Documents all medication management related information.
- Notifies LVN/LPN or any untoward medication reponse.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
- Completion of course work/training in medications.
- Six months experience in related position.
- Complies with licensing requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before customers and to employees of organization.
